A sewage backup isn't a job for a mop and bucket. Our Sewage Cleanup crews arrive in full PPE, classify the contamination, and follow IICRC S500 blackwater protocols from the first step.

The decision to remove a material rather than dry it in place isn't a cost-cutting call on a sewage job — it's a safety standard, since porous materials that contact blackwater can't be fully sanitized no matter how long you dry them.
We'd rather explain the sewage cleanup process in plain terms upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when sewage cleanup gets handled by a generalist rather than a specialist.
Ask for credentials before the work starts, not after — a legitimate sewage cleanup specialist will have them ready.
Every sewage job follows documented contamination standards, not an improvised cleanup approach.
Technicians suit up in full protective gear before entering a contaminated area.
Disposal documentation is provided as part of the job record.
We treat contamination calls with urgency, since delay increases exposure risk.
We don't treat sewage cleanup as a single generic task — each part of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Water gets classified as Category 3 blackwater on arrival, which sets the entire response protocol.
Extraction equipment dedicated to contaminated water keeps cross-contamination from clean-water jobs.
Carpet, pad, and drywall that contacted blackwater almost always require removal rather than drying in place.
Every surface that had contact with contaminated water gets disinfected with hospital-grade antimicrobial treatment.
Sewage odor gets treated at the source through disinfection and controlled airflow, not masked with fragrance.
We verify the space meets a safe standard before calling the job complete.
Four steps, no guesswork, from your first call to a verified sewage cleanup result.
You call +1-844-578-1604 and a live dispatcher takes the details of your Sewage Cleanup need, not a voicemail system.
The truck that arrives is stocked specifically for Sewage Cleanup jobs, not a generic handyman setup.
A technician assesses the scope on-site and provides a written flat-rate quote before any work begins.
We stand behind the result with a documented sign-off, not just a verbal assurance.
"They didn't rush the disinfection step even though it clearly slowed the job down."

Preston G., West Nyack"Disposal documentation came through clean and organized for our property records."
Victor N., West Nyack"A backup in our restaurant kitchen got same-day response given the health code concerns, and they understood the urgency immediately."
Grace T., West NyackThese are the questions we hear most often about sewage cleanup, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Our sewage cleanup coverage spans 10994, with trucks positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying West Nyack address isn't treated as a lower priority for sewage cleanup.
